BJP demands curb on crime in Kadma area
BJP members submitted a memo to the Kadma PS in-charge and asked action to check illicit liquor and narcotic trade.
Jamshedpur: All mandal units of BJP submitted separate memorandums to officer-in-charge of different police stations of the city and urged the city police to curb crime and illegal businesses in the city.
A delegation of BJP members also reached Kadma police station and held a demonstration demanding strict action to stop illegal narcotic and liquor businesses in the area.
The delegation was being led by Kadma Mandal president of BJP Rajesh Kumar Singh.
The delegation also submitted a memorandum and asked the police to check crime in the area and curb sale of brown sugar and illicit liquor in the area.
Rajesh Singh said that brown sugar and illicit liquor is destroying the youth of the area and this has caused a spurt in crime rate in the region.
He said that thieves are targeting mandir too and recently a mandir was targeted. He said that the theft cases relating to mandir have not been solved yet and this is causing anger among the local residents.
He demanded a curb on illegal activities in the area and said that if the police fails in its duty then BJP would launch an intensive agitation.
