Owing to to the digging done by different agencies entrusted with the task of implementing sewerage, drainage and water supply projects , the roads in the entire Adityapur Municipal Corporation area were full of potholes.

The Transport Minister of the state and the MLA Champai Soren had asked the DC to take monitor the work being done on such projects in the district and had given him the responsibility of improving the condition in the municipal area.

As soon as the Deputy Commissioner of the district got the task in his own hands, the agencies working in the municipal area became overactive and vigilant.
