Tragic Suicide of Young Jamshedpur Man Linked to Alleged Blackmail

24-Year-Old Dheeraj Kumar Hangs Himself at Home Amidst Personal Turmoil

A young man from Jamshedpur has tragically ended his life, reportedly due to pressures stemming from an illicit relationship and alleged blackmail.

JAMSHEDPUR – Dheeraj Kumar, a 24-year-old resident of Panchvati Nagar in the Sonari police station area, allegedly committed suicide by hanging in his home.

The incident occurred on Monday night, but was only discovered Tuesday morning when Dheeraj did not emerge from his room.

His elder brother revealed that Dheeraj had allegedly used a dupatta to hang himself.

Dheeraj, who was married a year ago, worked as a driver for the Mango Municipal Corporation.

He and his wife lived together in Sonari, where he reportedly became involved with another woman, from Birsa Basti.

This relationship led to significant personal distress.

Dheeraj’s wife has alleged that the other woman was blackmailing him for money, which ultimately drove him to despair and suicide.

Following the tragic event, his body was taken to MGM hospital for an autopsy, scheduled for Wednesday morning, before being released to his grieving family.
