JMM pays homage to martyrs Sidhu-Kanu on Hul Diwas

Jamshedpur : Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Jamshedpur Block Committee observed Hul Diwas today and paid homage to martyrs Sidhu-Kanu by garlanding their idols. Hul Diwas was celebrated with traditional respect at Parsudih Haludboni.

Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi and Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar attended the occasion.

He paid tribute by garlanding the idol of the country’s first freedom fighters Sidhu and Kanu.

He also took a pledge to follow their ideals.

The MLA Mangal Kalindi said that Sidhu Kanu and Chand Bhairav ​​had an important contribution in the first war of independence.

On June 30, 1855, they were the first to blow the bugle of independence. They sacrificed his life for the freedom of the country.

He said that this is the reason 30th of June is celebrated as Hull Day all over the country.

The MLA told that Sidhu Kanu was the hero of the Santhal rebellion. He had fought hard against the British in the freedom struggle.

He said that the freedom struggle continued and in the end the British had to leave the country and flee.

We salute the great man of such a country, he said.

MLA Sanjeev Sardar while paying tribute by garlanding the statue of Sidhu Kanu on the occasion of Hul Diwas said that those who opposed the British rule are feeling proud by paying tribute to Sidhu Kanu.

They had sacrificed his life in fighting the battle for the country.

On this occasion, party Block President Bahadur Kisku, Devjit Mukherjee, Nita Sarkar, Zak Ta Soren, Pritam Hembram, Manoj Naha, Nizam Khan, Jugal Kishore Mukhi, Sanat Mandal, Mantu Gop, Anil Munda, Shekhar Tudu, besides a large number of JMM workers were present.
