Ex-Servicemen Pay Tribute to Galwan Martyrs in Jamshedpur

Emotional Ceremony at Shaheed Smriti Sthal Honors Brave Soldiers

The All India Ex-Servicemen Service Council in Jamshedpur paid tribute to the martyrs of Galwan on Saturday.

JAMSHEDPUR – On Saturday, the All India Ex-Servicemen Service Council in Jamshedpur gathered to honor the brave martyrs of the Galwan clash.

The ceremony took place at Shaheed Smriti Sthal in Golmuri, where ex-servicemen paid floral tributes with heartfelt emotions.

Jasbir Singh conducted the program, while ex-serviceman Santosh Kumar Singh recounted the heroic stories of the Galwan soldiers, including the sacrifice of Colonel Santosh Babu and his comrades.

He also paid tribute to the bravery of the city’s martyr, Ganesh Hansda.

The ex-servicemen paid their respects by laying flowers and lighting lamps in memory of the fallen heroes.

Jitendra Kumar Singh, another ex-serviceman, gave the vote of thanks, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotic slogans like "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," "Vande Mataram," and "Veer Shaheed Amar Rahe."

The event saw the participation of several ex-servicemen, including Kem Singh, Satya Prakash, Navendu Ganguly, Rajesh Pandey, Vikas Kumar, OP Pandey, Dayanand Singh, Nirmal Gond, Umesh Singh, Hareram Kamat, Jasbir Singh, Kundan Singh, Ken Yadav, and Varun Kumar.

The gathering served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by the soldiers and the enduring respect held by the community for their bravery.
