National Para Badminton Championship Nears Finale

68 Matches Played on Day 3 of the Para Badminton Championship in Jamshedpur

The 6th National Para Badminton Championship at JRD Tata Sports Complex enters its penultimate day, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion with 13 final matches scheduled.

JAMSHEDPUR – Notable athletes Manasi Joshi, Nitesh Kumar, Palak Kohli, and Abu Hubaida engaged in interactive sessions with Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre’s trainees and coaches at the JFC lounge.

Competitors from Punjab, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh have shown exceptional performance in the tournament thus far.

The championship, which began on March 19, has seen its matches played at Mohan Ahuja Stadium and Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre since March 20.

Day 3 of the event featured 68 matches, including eight finals, showcasing the talents of para badminton athletes from across the nation.

The tournament is hosted by Tata Steel and Tata Steel Foundation in collaboration with the Badminton Association of India, Para Olympics, and Jharkhand Badminton Association, highlighting inclusivity and the spirit of para sports.

The 6th National Para Badminton Championship aims to celebrate the extraordinary skills and perseverance of para athletes, fostering awareness and support for para sports in India.
