Banna Gupta addresses Republic Day function at Gopal Maidan

Jamshedpur: The district-level Republic Day function was organised at Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur on the 72nd Republic Day. The Health Minister Banna Gupta saluted the tricolour and took the guard of honour.

The Republic Day function was organised in a simple manner with all the precautions keeping the coronavirus pandemic in mind. All the safety measures were abided by.

Security personnel took part in the parade, while tableaus were also displayed.

One of the tableaus depicted how the steel city and its citizens faced the challenge of coronavirus pandemic.

The Health Minister Banna Gupta in his address wished the citizens for 72nd Republic Day. He lauded the efforts being made by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand and said that the state is treading on the path of progress and prosperity.

He also took a shot at the union government and said that the state government has taken many steps to make the state prosperous.

The Health Minister also honoured corona warriors on the occasion.
