Corona claims 4 lives in Jharkhand on Monday, total deaths 999

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 4 lives in Jharkhand on Monday. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the pandemic in the state has risen to 999.

According to official data, 144 new positive cases of coronavirus infection were also detected in the state on Monday. With this, the total number of infections in the state has reached 1,11,510. Out of these, 1,08,940 patients have already been cured and discharged. For now, the state has only 1,571 active cases of coronavirus infection.

As per official data, the state has tested 44,96,879 samples till Monday. Out of these only 1,11,510 samples were found positive.

On Monday itself, 179 persons were also cured and discharged. This takes the total number of recoveries in the state to 1,08,940.

The state has a recovery rate of 97.69%, while the mortality rate for the state is 0.89%.

East Singhbhum district remains the worst-affected district of the state with a mortality rate of 2.2% and a positivity rate of 4.1$
