Corona claims 1 life on Sunday in Jamshedpur, total deaths 373

10 more positive cases, 27 cured and discharged, recovery 97%, mortality 2.2%

Jamshedpur: 1 person died of coronavirus infection on Sunday in Jamshedpur taking the total death toll due to the pandemic to 373.

According to official data, on Sunday, 10 more coronavirus positive cases were detected in East Singhbhum district. With this, the total number of infections in the district has reached 16,925.

On the other hand, 27 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals of the district. With this, the total number of recoveries in East Singhbhum have reached 16,358.

Till Sunday, the district has tested 3,95,939 samples. Out of these, 16,925 samples have tested positive, while, 378,114 samples have tested negative.

For now, the district tha a total of 194 active cases of coronavirus infections.

The recovery rate in the district is still hovering around 97%, while the mortality rate too is static at 2.2%. The positivity rate in East Singhbhum is now 4.3% and has come down a little from the level of 4.4%.
