District Council Member Dr. Paritosh Leads Cleanliness Drive in Govindpur
Dr. Paritosh Singh clears 50 truckloads of garbage from Chhota Govindpur to combat health risks.
District Council Member Dr. Paritosh Singh organized a cleanliness drive in Chhota Govindpur to address the growing health risks from accumulated garbage.
JAMSHEDPUR – District Council member Dr. Paritosh Singh led a massive cleanliness campaign in Chhota Govindpur, clearing 50 truckloads of garbage from key areas.
The campaign was launched in response to requests from local residents, as various parts of Chhota Govindpur were piled with waste, increasing the risk of monsoon-related diseases.
The clean-up drive covered several locations, including the Community Development Ground, Hat Bazaar, Main Road, Single Quarter, and other areas.
Heavy machinery such as JCBs, tractors, and trucks, along with laborers, were employed to remove the waste.
Additionally, Puthul Ground was also cleaned as part of the effort.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Paritosh Singh stated, "The heaps of garbage in Govindpur were a serious threat to public health. This prompted us to launch the cleanliness drive today, which will continue for a week."
He further added that after the cleanliness drive, bleaching powder would be distributed in various parts of Govindpur to prevent further health hazards.
The drive saw active participation from Panchayat Committee members, including Satvir Singh Bagga, Dinesh Singh, Bhim Kumar, Ajit Rajput, Diwakar Singh, Sumit Kumar, Rohan Kumar, and Brijesh Singh, among other local residents.
