Corona claims 3 lives in Jharkhand on Friday, total fatalities 862

435 new cases, 499 cured and discharged on Friday

Ranchi: Covid-19 pandemic has taken 3 more lives in the state of Jharkhand on Friday. With this, the total number of people dying due to coronavirus has now reached 862. East Singhbhum remains the most affected district of the state has 347 people have lost their lives due to the virus in that district.

According to official data, on Friday 3 persons died of corona in the state, while 435 new cases were detected in different districts of the state. Meanwhile, 499 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals of the state and also from home quarantine.

As per the official data, the state has tested a total of 30,58,954 samples till date. Out of these 99,045 samples have tested positive. Even out of these, 92,128 infected patients have already been cured and discharged from hospitals.

The state has 6,055 active cases as of now.
