Jamshedpur FC sign up defender Peter Hartley

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur FC have signed English player Peter Hartley in a bid to strengthen its defence. The English player has already signed for the Club to play Indian Super League 2020-21 from its side.

Peter Hartley is 32 and has just finished a very enriching and successful season for his club Motherwell FC in the Scottish Premiership.

Under his leadership the team secured a 3rd place in the competition.

Jamshedpur FC commented with a welcome tweet: “Our HART is too full right now.

Hartley started his career after a debut in 2007 and has since scored 37 goals.

Hartley has been trained by Sunderland AFC Academy. He also trained with the former English Premier League side’s senior team.

He has played in some well-known competitions in English like the FA Cup and League Cup and he played against teams like Chelsea, Everton, Watford and Wigan Athletic.

Hartley will sport Jamshedpur jersey with the number 29.

Peter Hartley has expressed happiness at the signing up. And he tweeted: “From the steel men to the men of steel.”
