Heroes’ Sacrifices Honored in JNAC’s Jamshedpur Park Event

Honoring heroes in a special event at Sidhgora’s Children’s Park, Jamshedpur; saplings planted, awards presented, and the legacy of the brave kept alive.

JAMSHEDPUR – The capital of the nation, Delhi, will receive Amrit Kalash, containing the preserved soil from the Jamshedpur heroes, as part of the Vasudha Vandan initiative.

A total of 75 saplings were planted to ensure the success of this celebration.

In a touching ceremony, female constable 146 Arsu Tudu, the wife of Special Officer Late Bhim Tudu, who was killed in a Maoist explosion in 2011, and Late C. Bhi Rao, who passed away in Patna Jail after fighting for independence, were honored with copper plaques.

The late Dukhiya Murmu’s wife, constable 219 Bangi Soren, who died fighting the militants, was recognized by the Sub-Divisional Officer for her bravery at Musabani Tusu Mela on January 18, 2015.

The dependents of the heroes received plaques in honor of those who gave their lives for democracy and the nation’s independence.

The chief guest, Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar, raised the flag at the event.

The Special Officer of the JNAC acknowledged the tremendous sacrifices made for our freedom and expressed gratitude towards the heroes in his welcome speech.

Under the direction of Kareena Kujur, the Tribal Oraon Samaj Purana Sitaramdera team performed the Kundukh dance to welcome all attendees.

The event, themed "Meri Mati Mera Desh," was organized on Monday by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee at the Children’s Park in Sidhgora.
