PATNA – Janshakti Janta Dal candidate Tej Pratap Yadav toured Mahua constituency for the first time after filing nomination. He visited homes and temples seeking electoral support.
Tej Pratap Yadav reached the famous Govindpur Singharha Mata Durga temple. He offered chunari at the shrine. Moreover, he prostrated before the deity.
The candidate sought blessings for victory in the polls. He visited a condolence meeting during his tour. However, supporters served him sweets on a leaf plate.
Tej Pratap tasted rasgullas at the feast. He also ate biscuits and mixture at supporters’ homes. Besides, he continued his area tour afterward.
On the other hand, he expressed satisfaction with public response. “The response is tremendous,” he said. Furthermore, he added that he was fully confident.
“An engineering college will be established this time,” Tej Pratap stated. In addition, he said he was focused on campaigning. However, he showed no concern about rivals’ activities.
Tej Pratap addressed the Chhath festival travel issues. Thousands of people were returning to Bihar from various states. Moreover, trains were overcrowded during the festive season.
“Difficulties do arise when people migrate and return for Chhath,” he said. Besides, he added that the government should make proper arrangements. On the other hand, he stressed that people should reach home easily.
Meanwhile, the Mahagathbandhan faces friendly contests in several Bihar seats. Congress, RJD and allies are competing against each other. However, Tej Pratap dismissed the issue.
“This is Mahagathbandhan’s internal matter,” he said. In addition, he stated he had no concern. Furthermore, he clarified that his party was separate.
Tej Pratap Yadav is contesting from Mahua assembly constituency. He is the elder son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. Moreover, his brother Tejashwi Yadav is the opposition leader.
