RANCHI – Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) executive president Hemant Soren took oath as the 13th Chief Minister of Jharkhand on Thursday, setting the stage for a crucial floor test on July 8.
Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Soren at Raj Bhavan, Ranchi.
Before the swearing-in, Soren released a 5-minute 14-second video message, addressing the people of Jharkhand and recalling the events of January 31, 2024.
