Ranchi: Jharkhand has got six new Indian Police Service (IPS) officers under the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 cadre allocation list released by the Union Home Ministry. The appointment of these officers is expected to further strengthen the police administration of the state.
According to the notification issued by Police-1 Division of the Home Ministry, six IPS officers have been allotted in Jharkhand cadre. Of these, two officers are from Jharkhand, while the other four officers belong to Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The officers allotted to Jharkhand cadre include Delhi’s Kaabil Bhargava (Rank 122) and Pulkit Bansal (Rank 155), Uttar Pradesh’s Mansi Singh (Rank 168), Jharkhand’s Karan Kumar (Rank 174) and Saurabh Rajendu (Rank 199) and Rajasthan’s Karmaveer Narwadia (Rank 795, Scheduled Caste category).
With the involvement of these young officers, the law and order, policing capacity and administrative efficiency of the state is likely to get new energy. After completion of training and other formal processes, these officers will be assigned responsibilities in various districts and departments of Jharkhand.
Officials believe that with the arrival of these new generation IPS officers, the police leadership will get a new direction and law and order and good governance will be made more effective.
