A youth riding a bike got hit by a fire engine of Tata Steel. He was taken to TMH in a seriously injured condition, where he died during treatment. According to the information received, Mohd. Hussam Akhtar was going towards United Club on his bike. Meanwhile, his bike got hit by a fire engine of Tata Steel near TMH roundabout. The collision was so severe that the young man got crushed under the wheel of the vehicle and was seriously injured.
After the incident, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. With the help of local people and police, the injured youth was immediately evacuated from the spot and taken to Tata Main Hospital (TMH) in a tempo. Doctors started treating him at the hospital, but he died during treatment due to serious injuries.
As soon as information about the accident was received, the relatives of the deceased reached the hospital. As soon as the news of the death of the young man was heard, a wave of mourning ran in the family. The family members are in bad condition and crying.
On receiving information about the incident, Bistupur police station also reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Police station in-charge Alok Kumar Dubey said that the youth injured in the road accident died during treatment in the hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the accident and further legal process is being completed.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire vehicle was going towards Bistupur, while the youth riding the bike was moving in the direction of United Club. Both the vehicles came face to face at TMH roundabout, after which this accident happened. The police is busy investigating all aspects related to the accident.
