JAMSHEDPUR – The Bharatiya Janata Party showcased organizational unity as two leaders withdrew their mayoral bids for the upcoming Mango Municipal Corporation elections.

Metropolitan President Sanjeev Sinha visited Avinash Singh Raja’s residence on Tuesday. He also met Jyoti Singh and Shivprakash Sharma at their homes. District officials accompanied Sinha during these courtesy visits.

Moreover, Sinha informed the leaders about the party’s election decision. He requested Jyoti Singh to withdraw her mayoral candidacy. Chanchal Sharma also received a similar request from the party.

The leaders prioritized the organization’s broader interests during the meetings. Avinash Singh Raja expressed loyalty to the party’s decision. However, Shivprakash Sharma also pledged support to the organizational choice.

Both leaders agreed not to file nomination papers. They committed to supporting party-backed candidate Sandhya Singh instead. In addition, they promised to work actively for her victory campaign.

District President Sinha praised the leaders’ positive cooperation afterward. He appreciated their dedication toward the organization. “BJP operates on disciplined nationalist ideology and principles,” he stated.

Furthermore, Sinha emphasized that respecting organizational decisions strengthens the party. All workers and leaders will unite for Sandhya Singh’s success. They will enter the electoral field with full strength.

The metropolitan president called upon both leaders to remain active. He wished them a bright political future ahead. Meanwhile, several district officials attended the meetings throughout.

Deputy Presidents Babua Singh and Rajiv Singh were present. General Secretary Sanjeev Singh also attended the gathering. Treasurer Krishna Sharma Kali joined along with other leaders.

District Minister Pappu Singh participated in the meetings as well. Jamshedpur BJP maintained complete transparency during the entire process. The party demonstrated its commitment to internal democracy and consensus-building.

On the other hand, the withdrawal strengthens Sandhya Singh’s candidacy significantly. Party workers expressed confidence in securing a decisive victory. The unified approach aims to consolidate voter support effectively.
