JAMSHEDPUR – The Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary launched a butterfly garden and Buru Haat market on Sunday. Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department Secretary Abu Bakkar Siddiqui inaugurated both facilities.

Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) S.R. Natesh attended the ceremony. Moreover, Dalma DFO Saba Alam Ansari joined other senior forest officials.

However, the butterfly garden aims to attract nature enthusiasts and students. Officials released various butterfly species during the opening event.

On the other hand, the garden will serve conservation and research purposes. In addition, it promotes environmental awareness among visitors.

Meanwhile, the facility opened immediately for tourists after inauguration. Furthermore, officials inspected shops at Dalma Buru Haat market.

The butterfly garden showcases biodiversity in the sanctuary region. Besides, it provides educational opportunities for studying butterfly species.

Officials emphasized conservation messages through the symbolic butterfly release. The initiative supports ongoing eco-tourism development at Dalma.

In contrast to traditional attractions, the garden offers unique wildlife experiences. The market complements tourism infrastructure at Jamshedpur sanctuary.

Forest department expects increased visitor engagement with nature conservation. The twin projects enhance Dalma’s tourism potential significantly.

Related developments include ongoing conservation efforts and wildlife monitoring. Additionally, authorities address forest fire prevention and elephant movement concerns in the region.
