JAMSHEDPUR – District Election Officer directs political parties to explain helmet violations during Ghatshila rallies within twenty-four hours.

The District Election Officer has taken strict notice. Two-wheeler riders participated in rallies without helmets. Political parties and candidates must submit clarifications immediately.

Legal action will be ensured against violators. The directive came from the DEO office. However, this measure aims to maintain election code discipline.

Postal Ballot Arrangements

Postal ballot facilities have been announced for voters. Election duty personnel can cast votes through this system. Moreover, absent essential service voters also qualify for this provision.

Voters aged 85 years and above are eligible. Persons with 40% or more disability can apply. The facility includes AVES and AVSC category voters.

Multiple voting centers have been designated across Jamshedpur. Room 101 at Girls Hostel will serve as one center. Women University at Sidgora Campus will host another facility.

Voting Schedule Details

Polling personnel can vote from October 30 to 31. Reserve category personnel have the same dates. Meanwhile, sector officers will vote during this period.

Micro observers will cast ballots simultaneously. BLO category voters also share these dates. Additionally, SST, FST, VST, and VVT personnel follow this schedule.

Police personnel from multiple departments have separate arrangements. District Police, Home Guard, and Sector Police are included. Special Branch, SAP, GRP personnel will also participate.

CTC, JAP-6, IRB-02, and ACB staff have designated slots. Driver, conductor, and videographer categories are covered. All Koshang and other office personnel can vote too.

Essential Services Voting

Essential Services (AVES) personnel vote from November 5 to 7. They will cast ballots at Room 102. Women University campus hosts this facility.

RO Cell Ghatshila voters have different dates. They can vote from November 8 to 10. The SDO Office in Ghatshila serves as their center.

Home Voting Provisions

AVSC and AVPD voters have home voting options. Phase I runs from November 2 to 7. Phase II extends from November 9 to 10.

These provisions follow Election Commission guidelines. The district administration ensures complete compliance. Furthermore, all eligible voters receive proper facilitation.

Holiday Declaration

November 11 has been declared a paid holiday. All government employees get this benefit. Public sector workers also receive paid leave.

The declaration applies to Ghatshila Assembly constituency. Voters can exercise their franchise without work pressure. This measure strengthens democratic participation.

Officials emphasize complete voter turnout on polling day. Every vote matters for robust democracy. The administration urges all eligible voters to participate.
