Mini Truck Carrying Cattle Seized in Pakur, Driver Flees Scene
Pakur’s Hiranpur police seize a mini truck carrying nine cattle in inhumane conditions; driver escapes as authorities investigate illegal cattle trading.
Pakur: Hiranpur police in Pakur have seized a mini truck packed with nine cattle reportedly smuggled from Godda, following a tip-off that the animals were being transported to West Bengal in a pick-up van.
A police team pursued and intercepted the vehicle near Karyodih in Littipada.

However, the driver managed to escape the scene as the police closed in.
The nine cattle were found crammed into the pickup van, sparking concern over the inhumane conditions in which the animals were being transported.
The police have registered an FIR and are taking action against the vehicle owner and the alleged smuggler as part of their ongoing investigation.
The incident has stirred up concerns surrounding the issue of illegal cattle trading in the area. SR Das, Circle Inspector, is overseeing the case.
