JAMSHEDPUR – East Singhbhum district has constituted a committee to implement the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.
District Magistrate Ananya Mittal leads the initiative. Meanwhile, the committee includes key district officials.
“This scheme will transform local energy consumption,” a senior official stated. Moreover, it promotes renewable energy adoption.
Committee Structure
The panel includes the Jamshedpur MP as special invitee. Furthermore, Zila Parishad officials hold key positions.
On the other hand, DISCOM representatives ensure technical expertise. The Lead District Manager provides financial oversight.
In addition, ADM Law and Order Aniket Sachan joins the committee.
Scheme Benefits
Beneficiaries can generate income through surplus energy. Meanwhile, they receive 300 free electricity units monthly.
Furthermore, loans are available at 7% interest. The government offers substantial installation subsidies.
