JAMSHEDPUR – A mega blood donation camp was organized at Son Mandap in Sidhgora in memory of revered freedom movement heroes.

The event was held by social organization Koshish Ek Muskan Laane Sanstha. A large number of young men and women came forward to donate blood.

According to the group’s president, Shiv Shankar Singh, such drives are organized regularly. He emphasized that blood donation is the greatest form of giving.

Singh added that every year the target is to involve over 1,100 donors. Moreover, he informed that the organization aims to expand efforts towards organ donation in the future.

A participant said, “We feel proud to donate blood for society. It is our small contribution.”
