JAMSHEDPUR – Former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren paid floral tribute to Sabuwa Hansda.
The event took place at Kerukocha in Chakulia block, East Singhbhum. Hansda was remembered for his leadership in the Jungle Bachao Andolan. However, the program also highlighted his sacrifice as a martyr for forest rights.
Moreover, Champai Soren, a senior BJP leader, expressed deep respect at the statue site. He laid floral offerings and joined locals in honoring Hansda’s memory.
