Anadi Brahma Elected President of NIT Jamshedpur Students’ Council

Haritima Sinha Named General Secretary; Other Key Posts Announced

JAMSHEDPUR – National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur has constituted the students’ council for the academic session 2025-26. Anadi Brahma has been selected as president of the council.

Haritima Sinha will serve as General Secretary. Harshit Raj has been appointed Sports Secretary, while Mayank Raj will handle Cultural Secretary duties. Anurag Das has been named Technical Secretary and Priya Kumari has taken charge as Club Secretary. Saloni Tiwari will serve as PG Representative, and Abhishek Bhoutkar will act as Sports Team Coordinator.

The position of Vice President has been entrusted to Shubham Kumar Singh and Srinivas Prasad. Joint Sports Secretaries are Mrinal Ayush Raj and Sunita Diggi. Joint Cultural Secretaries are Maharshi N. Deo and Shreya Sharma. Joint Technical Secretaries are Kushal Srivastava and Navya Mishra. Ishika Gupta has been appointed Alumni Secretary.

In addition, Varun Singh and Rini Bhowmik have been selected as Joint Secretaries, while Pushkar Barnwal and Shanu Priya will serve as Joint Alumni Secretaries.

The council aims to resolve student issues, conduct diverse activities, and build stronger communication between the student body and administration.

Newly elected president Anadi Brahma said the council’s main goal would be to strengthen the students’ voice and represent their interests at every level.
