JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Steel Table Tennis Training Centre showcased dominance at the 2nd Jharkhand State Ranking Championship in Hazaribagh.

The competition ran from August 22 to 24, 2025. Players from East Singhbhum, representing the Tata Steel Centre, claimed more than half the available trophies.

The medal tally included 6 Gold, 7 Silver, and 10 Bronze medals across different categories. Their strong showing highlighted the Centre’s growing impact on the state’s table tennis scene.

Mr. Mukul Vinayak Chaudhuri, Chief of Sports, Tata Steel, congratulated the winners. “The results reflect the players’ discipline and the quality training at the Centre,” he said. He added that the trainees are ready to excel in future tournaments.
