JAMSHEDPUR – Security forces achieved significant success in their ongoing anti-Naxal campaign by recovering 18 improvised explosive devices near Kochang village in the border area between West Singhbhum and Khunti districts on Friday.

The joint operation involved multiple security agencies working together. Chaibasa police, Khunti police, Jharkhand Jaguar and CRPF participated actively.

However, each recovered IED bomb weighed approximately three kilograms. The explosives were strategically placed to target security personnel.

Moreover, West Singhbhum Superintendent of Police received intelligence about the threat. Sources indicated that IEDs were planted in Adki police station area.

Acting on the information, forces from both districts launched the operation. The coordinated effort targeted the suspected locations systematically.

In addition, security personnel successfully located all 18 explosive devices. The bombs were discovered near Kochang village under Adki police station.

Furthermore, the bomb disposal squad reached the site immediately. Experts safely destroyed all recovered explosives following standard protocols.
