JAMSHEDPUR – As part of Road Safety Week, an awareness vehicle was flagged off from the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner’s office by DTO Dhananjay Kumar on Wednesday. The initiative aims to raise awareness about traffic rules and promote safer road practices.

Awareness Vehicle and Bike Rally

The awareness vehicle, launched to address the increasing incidents of road accidents across the country, marked the beginning of the campaign. Alongside, a bike rally was organized, starting from the Deputy Commissioner’s office and passing through Sakchi and Bistupur before returning to the starting point.

The bike rally aimed to educate participants and the public about the importance of following traffic rules, such as wearing helmets and seatbelts.

Appeal for Safe Driving Practices

During the event, participants urged people to prioritize safety by adhering to traffic regulations. “Using helmets and seatbelts can save lives and prevent injuries during accidents,” emphasized the organizers. The campaign reflects a collaborative effort to reduce the rising graph of road accidents by fostering awareness among citizens.
