Block Officials Train 12 Panchayat Teams for Development Planning

POTKA – A three-day intensive training program for village facilitation teams from 12 panchayats concluded at the Bodam Block office in East Singhbhum district.

The training focused on preparing development plans for the fiscal year 2025-26. Master trainer Ajay Mishra led the sessions with practical guidance.

Rural Development Focus

The program emphasized participatory planning through women’s assemblies and children’s councils. Moreover, participants learned techniques for inclusive village development.

Meanwhile, Kanhu Murmu, the head of Kerua Dungri panchayat, shared his experiences as a master trainer. Furthermore, the teams pledged to strengthen grassroots democracy.

Strategic Planning Sessions

Block Project Officer Bandhu Mahto supervised the training modules. In addition, Block Coordinator Neelam Kumari provided insights into implementation strategies.

The initiative aligns with the national Jan Yojana Abhiyan guidelines. However, each panchayat will customize plans according to local needs.
