JAMSHEDPUR – An auto-rickshaw overturned on the main road from Pardih Kali Mandir to Mirzadih, injuring five people.

The incident occurred late Friday night. The driver was reportedly under alcohol influence.

Victims included 65-year-old Padho Mahto from Indira Colony. Two remain hospitalized.

Passenger Accounts

Bharat Tantubai, a daily wage worker, was returning from Mirzadih market. The auto lost control suddenly.

Meanwhile, Najma and her son boarded from Nimdih. They were heading to Mango.

Local residents assisted in rescue efforts. They transported victims to MGM Hospital.
