JAMSHEDPUR – Minister Sanjay Prasad, MLA from Godda and head of the Labor, Planning, Training, and Skill Development Department, conducted a crucial meeting with departmental officials at the Jamshedpur Circuit House. The meeting, focused on industry development, was the minister’s first in the city and included directives to make the region more investment-friendly.
Review and Future Plans
The minister emphasized reviewing industrial performance and discussing ways to enhance it. He highlighted the need to attract external investments to Jharkhand and shared plans to hold high-level meetings in Ranchi to finalize directives. “I will return to Jamshedpur from January 11-12 for further discussions and inspections in rural areas to ensure comprehensive development,” said Prasad.
Tackling Migration and Infrastructure Challenges
Addressing the critical issue of migration, Prasad stressed the importance of boosting industries to provide local employment. He pointed out staff shortages in various departments and requested a detailed report on these gaps. “The Chief Minister is firm that migration must stop, and we need to work together to make this happen,” he stated, emphasizing the motto “Hemant hai to Himmat hai.”
The minister also highlighted the significance of ensuring proper roads, water, and electricity to facilitate industrial growth and provide farmers with additional employment opportunities.
