Amit Mishra, a Jamshedpur resident, has brought pride to his hometown by being inducted as a Fellow into the prestigious Royal Society of Arts, London, in recognition of his exceptional research in organizational behavior.

JAMSHEDPUR – Born and raised in the city, Amit Mishra’s academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Jamshedpur.
He then went on to pursue a Master’s degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Hyderabad and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from IMT Ghaziabad.
Currently, Amit is a researcher undergoing research training at IMT Hyderabad, where he focuses on creating positive and productive work environments.
The fellowship from the Royal Society of Arts, an organization dedicated to promoting social progress and reform, underscores the significance of his work.

Expressing his gratitude, Amit said, “Being inducted as a Fellow into the Royal Society of Arts is a humbling honor. It motivates me to contribute meaningfully to the field of organizational behavior, just like these luminaries have impacted their respective areas.”

Dr. Ram Tarneja Award for Best Article
Amit’s induction into the Royal Society of Arts comes on the heels of another major achievement.
In February 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Dr. Ram Tarneja Award for Best Article in Indian Management.
The award was presented to him by Dr. Dharmendra Pradhan, the Education Minister of India, and Amitabh Kant, the CEO of Niti Aayog, during the 18th National Management Day ceremony.
