MEDININAGAR – The Hussainabad Municipal Council conducted a major anti-encroachment drive along key roads, seizing goods and clearing illegal structures.
The municipal team targeted multiple locations across Hussainabad town. Under the leadership of SDO Krishnakant Kawadia, officials inspected the area. Moreover, Executive Officer T.K. Hans supervised the operations.
Meanwhile, the drive focused on the stretch from Thana Road to JP Chowk. The team also cleared encroachments near Ambedkar Chowk. In addition, several shopkeepers voluntarily removed their unauthorized extensions.
Impact on Vendors
The operation particularly affected small-scale vendors in the area. Furthermore, many cart operators faced penalties for unauthorized occupation. “We will continue our efforts to keep public spaces clear,” stated a municipal official.
Additional Measures
On the other hand, the municipality plans to designate specific vending zones. The administration has previously conducted similar drives in 2023. Besides, they aim to implement a proper licensing system.
