Youth Festival Based on Panch Pran Organized at Women’s College
SDO and SDPO inaugurate the event highlighting youth potential

JAMSHEDPUR – A youth festival based on Panch Pran was organized on Friday at Women’s College. The event was held under the joint collaboration of the District Sports Office, Nehru Yuva Kendra (under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India), and the National Service Scheme of Women’s College.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chaibasa Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Sandeep Anurag Topno and Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Bahaman Tuti. The event was also graced by Women’s College Principal Dr. Preeti Bala Sinha, NSS representative Dr. Dara Singh Gupta, District Nodal Officer Dr. Arpit Suman Toppo, and Nehru Yuva Kendra’s District Youth Officer Kshitij.
Encouragement for Youth Participation
Addressing the audience, SDO Sandeep Anurag Topno emphasized the role of youth energy and positive thinking as key pillars of nation-building. Meanwhile, SDPO Bahaman Tuti urged participants to utilize such platforms effectively to hone their talents.
Nehru Yuva Kendra District Youth Officer Kshitij informed that similar youth programs are being organized nationwide by the central government. The Chaibasa event included 11 competitions such as painting, poetry writing, mobile photography, speech, story writing, science exhibitions, cultural performances, and folk songs.
Awards and Certificates
Winners securing first, second, and third positions in the competitions will receive certificates and cash prizes, which will be directly transferred to their bank accounts. Additionally, stalls by various departments were set up at the venue to share useful information with attendees.
Dignitaries Present at the Event
The program witnessed the presence of notable personalities including Dr. Anju Bala Khakha, Dr. Suchita Bada, Prof. Doris Minz, Prof. Savita Sundi, Girijanand Ratnakar, Bhim Sen Pingua, Sunil Jerai, Kamal Kumar, and Manisha Gop.
The event aimed to provide a platform for young talents to showcase their skills and inspire them to contribute towards national progress.
