Chama Linda emphasizes quality, transparency in welfare plans

RANCHI – Jharkhand Tribal Welfare Minister Chama Linda reviewed the progress of various welfare schemes at the Kalyan Complex in Ranchi. During the meeting with Tribal Welfare Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha, the minister stressed the need for initiatives rooted in the rich traditions of tribal culture.

He directed officials to focus on enhancing education and healthcare facilities for tribal communities. Efforts must ensure all basic amenities in rural welfare hospitals, Ayurvedic centers, and Paharia health centers.

Education and Infrastructure Upgrades

The minister emphasized improving facilities in residential schools and hostels. He instructed officials to ensure quality and transparency in implementing all schemes for Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).

Linda urged the department to create sustainable programs aimed at employment generation and income growth for tribal youth. He underscored the importance of achieving developmental targets with speed and efficiency.

State Government’s Focus

Highlighting the state government’s priorities under Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s leadership, Linda reiterated the commitment to holistic development. “Our goal is to uplift education and healthcare standards while ensuring timely implementation of welfare schemes,” he said.

The minister urged officials to prioritize delivering the full benefits of ongoing programs to eligible beneficiaries. He emphasized the importance of completing all projects on time to pave the way for the progress of tribal communities.
