1 coronavirus death in Jharkhand on Monday, 173 new cases

Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed one more life in Jharkhand on Monday, taking the total death toll due to coronavirus in the state to 1011. The only death was reported from Dumka district. The total death toll for Dumka district has reached 12 now.

According to official data, 173 new cases have been reported in the state. With this, the total number of positive cases in the state till date has reached to 1,13,198.

However, out of these many cases, 1,10,512 have already been cured and discharged. The state, for now, has only 1,675 active cases of coronavirus infections.

On Monday, 205 more patients were also cured and discharged from a different hospitals. With this, the total number of cured patients has reached 1,10,512.

On Monday, the recovery rate in the state was 97.62%. On the other hand, the mortality rate for the state on Monday is 0.89%.

East Singhbhum remains the worst-affected district of the state.
