JAMSHEDPUR – Baharagora College hosted a vibrant celebration of Indian languages and cultural heritage on Wednesday, following Ministry of Education directives.

The event showcased India’s linguistic diversity and cultural traditions. Teachers shared their perspectives on language preservation.

Cultural Integration Initiative

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) designed this nationwide program. The festival aims to strengthen cultural bonds across regions.

Moreover, the celebration highlighted the importance of mother tongues in education. “Language is the bridge that connects our diverse cultural heritage,” remarked a senior faculty member.

Academic Participation

Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Head of B.Ed Department, led key discussions. Additionally, Program Coordinator Dr. Tapan Kumar Mandal offered valuable insights.

Furthermore, professors from various departments actively participated. History Professor Dhananjay Kumar Singh shared historical perspectives on language evolution.

Students from both first and second semesters attended the event. Meanwhile, faculty members like Dr. BB Nayak and Dr. DK Chaudhary contributed to discussions.
