Three Notorious Cyber Criminals Arrested in Jamtara

Police Recover Multiple Mobile Phones, SIM Cards in Major Cyber Crime Bust

* Criminals posed as Jio executives to conduct Aadhaar-related scams

* Operations extended across Bengal, Bihar, UP, and Maharashtra

JAMTARA – Jamtara Cyber Police have apprehended three notorious cyber criminals in a successful operation.

The police conducted raids in Manjhladih and Lokniya villages.

Moreover, authorities arrested Ishwar Mandal, Bunty Kumar Sen, and Vijay Das red-handed.

Furthermore, officials recovered 10 mobile phones and 30 SIM cards from their possession.

In addition, two ATM cards and bank passbooks were seized during the operation.

“The criminals operated across multiple states,” revealed SDPO Vikas Anand Laguri.

Meanwhile, the accused have been booked under case number 69/24 IT Act.

However, their primary modus operandi involved impersonating Jio customer service representatives.

On the other hand, they exploited screen-sharing apps for financial fraud.

Besides, all three suspects have been sent to judicial custody.
