JAMSHEDPUR – The electoral field in Seraikela-Kharsawan district has been finalized with 49 candidates receiving approval after nomination scrutiny.
Ichagarh constituency witnessed the rejection of Reena Mahato’s nomination due to incomplete documentation.
Meanwhile, Tarun Mahato secured his candidacy with one valid nomination set for Ichagarh.
Furthermore, the constituency now has 23 candidates in the electoral fray.
In contrast, Mangal Singh Munda’s nomination for Kharsawan was invalidated due to errors.
Consequently, ten candidates remain in contention for the Kharsawan seat.
On the other hand, Seraikela constituency retained all sixteen candidates.
Moreover, the withdrawal window remains open until October 30.
The electoral atmosphere is expected to intensify after the withdrawal deadline.
