RANCHI – The Jharkhand government has announced a significant reshuffle of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, filling key positions across the state.
Kumar Shivashish, formerly SDPO of Hazaribagh, has been appointed as Jamshedpur’s City SP.
Moreover, this position had been vacant since Mukesh Lunayat’s transfer to Seraikela-Kharsawan.
Paras Rana has been designated as the Superintendent of Police (Operations) for West Singhbhum district.
Meanwhile, Rakesh Singh takes charge as the SP (Operations) for Palamu district.
In addition, Ritvik Srivastava has been appointed as the SP (Operations) for Chatra district.
The government has also made appointments at the sub-divisional level.
Furthermore, Sheikh Mohammad Yakub will serve as the SDPO of Hussainabad.
Lalit Meena has been posted as the SDPO of Chainpur in Gumla district.
On the other hand, Amit Anand will take charge as the SDPO of Hazaribagh.
The order emphasizes immediate joining for all transferred officers.
"This reshuffle aims to strengthen law enforcement across Jharkhand," stated a senior official.
The appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives to various districts.
Additionally, the filling of long-vacant positions like Jamshedpur’s City SP is seen as a positive step.
