BJP Calls for Swift Action in Kiriburu Murder Case, Cites Rapid Rise in Crime
State Working Committee member of BJP Scheduled Castes, Mangal Singh Gilua, calls for immediate arrest and trial of the culprits involved in the recent rape and murder case in Kiriburu.
CHAIBASA – Mangal Singh Gilua, State Working Committee member of BJP Scheduled Castes, has expressed his profound grief over the recent abduction and murder of a girl near Ankua village under Chiriya OP, located on the Kiriburu-Manoharpur main road.
Giluwa termed the incident as shameful and called for an immediate arrest of the culprits.
He said that the district police-administration should arrest the perpetrators without delay, conduct a speedy trial, and ensure they face the severest of punishments.
Giluwa also highlighted the rapid increase in the graph of crime under the coalition government.
He stressed that now women, businessmen, and even the police are not feeling safe here.
In addition to the recent Ankua incident, Giluwa pointed out a similar incident involving a woman in the Hatgamharia police station area.
He also mentioned the case of a DSP level officer being shot in Patratu, with the criminals still at large.
The Kiriburu-Manoharpur road, despite being in a Naxal-affected area, was considered very safe for common people.
Gilua stated that such incidents had never occurred before, and blamed the lack of police patrol on the main road for giving the criminals such courage.
He warned that the BJP would be compelled to protest on the streets if the police failed to act promptly.
According to him, the kidnapping, rape, and murder of a girl on the main road at 1.30 am is an incident that shames the entire society, police-administration, and humanity.
