JAMSHEDPUR – The Tuiladungri Durga Puja pandal has captured attention with its innovative design using everyday kitchen items as decorative elements.
The pandal, inaugurated on Sunday, stands 90 feet tall and 110 feet wide.
Moreover, the structure showcases an array of steel and plastic mesh and storage containers.
Meanwhile, a silver-hued Durga idol, costing ₹1.75 lakh, serves as the centerpiece of the display.
Furthermore, a team of 40 skilled artisans from West Bengal has crafted this unique pandal.
On the other hand, the surrounding fair promises to be a major attraction for visitors.
In addition, cultural programs featuring dance and song performances are scheduled for key puja days.
"Our aim was to create something innovative while honoring tradition," stated a committee member.
Besides the pandal, devotees can enjoy bhog served both as takeaways and within the premises.
The fair boasts eight rides and 35 stalls offering various food items and trinkets.
Rajiv Giri, Vice Chairman of the Jharkhand State Gau Seva Commission, serves as the chief patron.
"We’re excited to share our unique pandal with the community," remarked Mithilesh Singh Yadav, committee president.
The pandal’s distinctive design reflects the committee’s commitment to annual innovation.
