JAMSHEDPUR – Master Athletics Association of Jharkhand officials met with Tata Steel’s sports chief to discuss preparations for the upcoming state-level Master Athletic Championship in Jamshedpur.
The meeting took place on Tuesday at Tata Steel’s office.
S.K. Tomar, General Secretary of MAAJ, led the delegation to discuss event preparations.
The championship is scheduled for December at the JRD Sports Complex.
Mukul Vinayak Chaudhari, Tata Steel’s Chief of Sports, assured full support for the event.
The officials engaged in detailed discussions about key organizational aspects.
This year’s event is expected to attract more participants than last year.
Preparations are progressing swiftly to ensure a well-organized competition.
Moreover, the MAAJ delegation included several prominent figures in athletics.
Arif Imam, the association’s chief patron and international athlete trainer, was present.
International medalist Awtar Singh also attended the meeting.
Additionally, Jujhar Singh, an international javelin thrower, joined the delegation.
Sachin Shyam Kumar Sharma represented the Eastern Master Athletic Association of East Singhbhum.
The diverse delegation underscores the importance of the upcoming championship.
