JAMSHEDPUR – Social organization Bang Bandhu celebrated Mahalaya by honoring elderly mothers from local old age homes at a special event in Bistupur.

The ‘Prati-Maa Upohaar’ program took place at The Milanee Hall.

Several social workers, including Anjali Bose and Shanti Ghosh, graced the occasion.

The event began with traditional lamp lighting and conch shell blowing.

Aparna Guha, Bang Bandhu’s President, delivered a warm welcome address.

Meanwhile, the celebration featured captivating dance performances by young artists.

Anushka and Diya were among those who showcased their dancing skills.

Moreover, the audience enjoyed melodious song renditions during the program.

Shukla Banerjee and a team led by Pratap Banerjee performed musical numbers.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of gifts to 30 elderly mothers.

These gifts included new clothes and essential food items.

Babulal Chakraborty skillfully conducted the proceedings of the event.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Subhash Singha Roy.

This celebration underscores Bang Bandhu’s commitment to honoring the elderly.

By organizing such events, the organization aims to bring joy to senior citizens.
