JAMSHEDPUR – Former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha addresses political divisions and youth issues at a local think tank event, calling for change.

Yashwant Sinha, the former Finance and External Affairs Minister, spoke at a thought-provoking seminar organized by Atal Vichar Manch. The event took place at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur, Jamshedpur.

Sanjeev Acharya, the Kolhan coordinator of Atal Vichar Manch, had been meticulously preparing for this gathering. The seminar focused on the current political scenario and rising drug abuse among youth.

Several prominent social workers from the city were present at the occasion. A large crowd of young people and women was observed at the venue.

All guests were warmly welcomed with shawls and floral bouquets. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation for the main speaker’s address.

Changing Political Landscape

Sinha highlighted the stark differences between past and present political environments. He expressed concern over the lack of unity between ruling and opposition parties on crucial issues.

“In today’s political climate, we rarely see the government and opposition standing together on any matter,” remarked a seasoned political analyst attending the event.

Sinha emphasized the need for youth involvement in bringing about political change. He stressed the importance of addressing unemployment to combat drug abuse among young people.

“Providing job opportunities is crucial in steering our youth away from substance abuse,” stated a local youth counselor present at the seminar.

Future Political Plans

In a surprising turn of events, Sinha announced his intention to field candidates in the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections. This declaration has sparked interest in the state’s political circles.

An attendee commented, “Sinha’s decision to contest in Jharkhand could significantly impact the state’s political landscape.”

The event concluded with a renewed focus on youth engagement and political reform, leaving attendees with much to ponder.
