JAMSHEDPUR – XITE Gamharia’s "Sarjan – Literary Club" organizes an inspiring event showcasing student journalism skills through video storytelling.

The event, held on September 20, 2024, attracted over 18 student teams.

Moreover, more than 80 students and faculty members attended the presentations.

Participants explored various aspects of video journalism and digital storytelling.

Additionally, the competition covered topics from video editing to journalistic ethics.

Amrit & Group clinched first place with their video on rising living costs in India.

Meanwhile, Anurag & Group secured second place, focusing on the 2024 Indian elections.

The third place saw a tie between two teams.

Neha & Group presented "The Dark Side of Chocolate".

On the other hand, Ayushi & Group explored "Jio Recharge" in their presentation.

Dr. (Fr.) Mukti Clarence, SJ, praised the participants’ creativity and commitment.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of youth involvement in shaping modern media.

Fr. Edwin Ritesh Dungdung, SJ, encouraged students to pursue their passion for journalism.
