JAMSHEDPUR – D.B.M.S English School’s annual inter-school environment quiz, honoring former student Bishwadeep Sarkar, promotes ecological awareness among students.

The event, led by quiz master Saptashwa Dasgupta, aimed to heighten environmental consciousness among young learners.

Moreover, student volunteer Utkarsh Agarwal assisted in organizing the proceedings.

A school spokesperson emphasized the significance of the quiz, stating, "We are guardians of this planet, not passive observers."

The competition targeted students from grades VIII to X, with seventeen schools participating in the preliminary round.

Subsequently, five schools advanced to the final stage after a rigorous selection process.

The finalists included Sacred Heart Convent School, Narbheram Hansraj English School, Loyola School, Little Flower School, and aRajendra Vidyalaya.

Participants were challenged through five rounds, testing their knowledge on various environmental topics.

In addition, the event blended education with entertainment, engaging both contestants and spectators.

The D.B.M.S Management Committee, Principal Rajani Shekhar, and Vice Principal P.K. Sahu provided crucial support for the event’s success.

Furthermore, their presence added prestige to the occasion.

After an intense competition, Sacred Heart Convent School clinched victory with 60 points.

Meanwhile, Narbheram Hansraj English School secured second place, accumulating 50 points.

Little Flower School rounded out the top three, finishing with 30 points.

On the other hand, the quiz served as a platform to highlight the urgent need for environmental conservation efforts.

A local environmental expert commented, "Such events play a vital role in shaping young minds towards ecological responsibility."

In conclusion, the Bishwadeep Sarkar Memorial Quiz successfully combined education, competition, and environmental awareness.
