JAMSHEDPUR – The local teachers’ association has elected new leadership, signaling a fresh push for educational improvements in the region.

The event took place at PM Shri upgraded people’s Academy School in New Baradwari.

September 8 marked the date of this significant gathering.

The Jharkhand State Secondary Teachers’ Association’s East Singhbhum unit organized the convention.

Notable attendees included Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai and former Kolhan Commissioner Mohan Lal Rai.

Saryu Rai praised the association’s efforts in addressing educational concerns.

He emphasized the crucial role of teachers in shaping society’s future.

"We must focus on the development of our education system," Rai stated.

Meanwhile, the convention saw the formation of a new district executive committee.

Narendra Prasad Singh was appointed as the association’s president.

Additionally, Shashikant Singh and Kavita Singh took on roles as Vice President and Secretary, respectively.

The newly elected members pledged to prioritize teachers’ welfare and educational improvement.

Moreover, the association outlined plans for various educational and community initiatives.

Prakash Kumar Yadav, serving as the election officer, shared the committee’s objectives.

He highlighted their aim to amplify teachers’ voices and rights.

Furthermore, the new leadership plans to collaborate closely with the government.
