JAMSHEDPUR – On Tuesday, the JMM Women’s Wing organized a protest in Jamshedpur, where they burned effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The protest was led by JMM Women’s Wing district president Chandravati Mahto, who accused the BJP of being anti-development.
Mahto highlighted that the JMM government has launched several initiatives for women, including the Maiya Yojana, but alleged that BJP leaders are deliberately obstructing these development efforts.
The effigy burning was a symbolic gesture to express their dissatisfaction with the actions of the BJP.
The protest underscored the growing tension between the JMM and BJP over development issues in the region.
