12 Alternative Photo IDs Accepted for Voting in East Singhbhum Assembly Elections

JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration launches comprehensive voter education about acceptable identification documents for upcoming elections.

The District Election Officer has initiated an awareness campaign.

Moreover, voters can use various photo IDs besides EPIC cards.

"We want to ensure no eligible voter is turned away," stated a polling official.

Meanwhile, the initiative covers all six Assembly constituencies.

Furthermore, government-issued photo ID cards remain valid alternatives.

In addition, MNREGA job cards and bank passbooks are acceptable identification.

However, voters with EPIC cards are encouraged to bring them.

On the other hand, disability ID cards also serve as valid proof.

Besides, pension documents with photos can establish voter identity.
